Order REACT for Windows  

React for Windows, software for the simulation and modeling of chemical mechanisms for use by chemists in research laboratories and by academic institutions, is available for immediate download for a free (30 day) trial or for licensed use.  After downloading, installation is easy using the self-extracting installation file.  Instructions are included in the readme file to install the program.  After installation, start the program to complete the registration process and contact Alchemy Software to receive the password to run the program.

Alchemy Software offers a variety of licenses with the flexibility to meet your particular needs.  You may choose from commercial, academic, student, and free (30 day) trial licenses.  The unrestricted commercial and academic license allows unlimited use on a single computer, but the software may be installed on as many as three computers if one of them is a laptop.  We offer academic licenses to members of faculty or students who can prove academic eligibility.  We also offer time-limited licenses to students enrolled in eligible courses for the duration of the course.  The free trial license allows you to evaluate a full version of the software for a limited time (30 days).

REACT for Windows Installation Instructions

    1. Download the file REACTZip.exe and note where you save it.
    2. Close all Windows applications.
    3. Unzip the REACTZip file by double clicking on it.  Read the readme file for instructions on installing REACT for Windows.
    4. Click Start, then click RUN.
    5. Click Browse and find the file Setup.exe in the folder where you saved it.
    6. Double click Setup.exe (or highlight it and click the Open button).
    7. Click OK and the Setup Program should begin.
    8. Follow the instructions on the screen to complete the installation.
